SCSU baseball senior day, Coach Shea obtains 467th win in career

Southern CT State baseball coach Tim Shea is a lifelong Owl.
He played baseball at Southern under Joe Bandiera and was an assistant for his former head coach. Eventually, Shea took over the program.

Wednesday was senior day for the Owls; six guys were finishing up their college careers. It was also a chance for Shea to pass Bandiera for most wins in program history.

Stratford’s Ronnie Rossamdo, one of the seniors, pictched a great game. He went 8, struck out 7 and gave up just one run.

The offense helped him out in the 5th and the Owls scored three times.

The big knock, a bases loaded 2 run double by John Spoto.

Southern wins 3-1.

467 career wins over 17 seasons for Tim Shea is pretty good.
