UConn baseball racking up runs and wins early in the season

Speaking of the NCAA Tournament, The UConn baseball team will be heading back to postseason play if they keep hitting the ball like they are right now.

Huskies scored 12 runs in a win over Hartford Tuesday.

Through 22 games, the Huskies are averaging more than six runs per game.

Head Coach Jim Penders has a good mix of upperclassmen and younger players that help lead this balanced attack.

It’s still early, but Penders likes what he sees so far.

Huskies won again Wednesday afternoon against Boston College 3-1.
