The UConn men’s basketball team is hoping to get all it can from Alterique Gilbert.
It has been so far so good this season.
A healthy Gilbert means good things for the program.
Through five games, the redshirt sophomore is second on the team in scoring.

The former McDonald’s All-American spent most of his first two seasons on the UConn bench.
Injuries only allowed him to play nine games total in his first two seasons in Storrs.
