The UConn women’s basketball team has added Evelyn Adebayo, a graduate transfer from Murray State, to its roster for next season.
The 6-foot-1 forward becomes the third member of the 2019 recruiting class, joining wing Aubrey Griffin, from Ossining, New York, and guard Anna Makurat from Poland, who signed a letter of intent on Tuesday.
Adebayo had 19 double-doubles last season and averaged 18.2 points and 11.4 rebounds for the Racers.

Her signing gives the Huskies 10 scholarship players for the 2019-20 season.
UConn finished this past season 35-3, losing to Notre Dame in the Final Four.
