UConn women’s basketball assistant coach Shea Ralph heading back home after family member tests positive for COVID-19

(WTNH) — UConn Assistant Coach Shea Ralph is heading back home after learning a family member has tested positive today for COVID-19.

According to UConn, Ralph decided to leave the NCAA tournament in San Antonio after learning the news. She tested negative for COVID-19 daily since March 9, including twice since arriving in San Antonio on Tuesday.  

UConn is set to open play on Sunday against High Point.
