Wethersfield wins Class L title, 16-4, over Windsor


The Wethersfield Eagles played their best ball at the right time. On Friday night, they put the exclamation point on their season– with a Class L championship. 

The 11th seeded Eagles taking on CCC rival Windsor– the top seed. The Warriors beat up on Wethersfield in the regular season…

Tonight– a quick start for the Eagles. Already up 1-0, Jimmy Sullivan gives one a ride in the 2nd inning. It’s a three run shot.  

Down 5 zip, freshman Isaac Rosario and Windsor rally.. Rosario just missed a home run.
Warriors scored three times to cut the deficit to two. 

The Wethersfield bats were alive all night. The Eagles scored in bunches. In the 4th inning,Tyler Fote crushes one over everything. It’s a two-run homer.

Wethersfield goes on to win big, 16-4 the final. 

The Eagles the Class L champs.
