Nice honor for Yale basketball coach James Jones on Friday.

He was named the Ben Jobe National Coach of the Year.

The annual award is given to the top Division 1 minority coach.

Jones led Yale back to the NCAA tournament after winning the Ivy League Championship.

Jones has won more than 300 games at Yale over the last 20 seasons.
