Yale defeats Brown 17-12 in lacrosse

The regular season is winding down for Andy Shay and his fifth ranked Yale lacrosse team.

Four games to go two at Reese Stadium including Saturday afternoon which was senior day. 

The defending national champs hosting Brown on Saturday.

In the 1st quarter, they are tied at 3. They work it around Brian Tevlin to Jackson Morrill, who doesn’t miss. Jackson with 4 goals on the day 4-3 Yale.

 With it 5-5, TD Lerlen wins the faceoff takes it down give to Morrill Jackson to Matt Gaudet, his 2nd of the game and 101st goal. 6-5 Bulldogs.

With it 8-7, Yale John Danigellis to Matt Gaudet with the rip 9-7 Yale. Gaudet a game high of 5 goals.

Then check out Ierian, he wins the faceoff, takes it down and does it himself. 11-8 Bulldogs.

Bulldogs win it 17-12.

The bulldogs are 8-2, 4-1 in the Ivy League, plus they have qualified for the Ivy League tournament.
