Yale football’s O’Connor picks up Ivy League award after breakout performance

Yale first-year quarterback Griffin O’Connor picked up a prestigious Ivy league award on Monday.

He was named the co-offensive player and rookie of the week.

O’Connor made his first start under center on Saturday, and boy did he impress.

He threw for 436 yards and four touchdown passes in a 46-16 win over Brown.
