Yale lax team continues their game win streak after playing Airforce

They’re the defending national champions, #2 in the country, and on a 5 game win streak.
But the Yale men’s lacrosse team still has work to do.

The Bulldogs hosted Air Force at Reese Stadium.

Andy Shay’s team gets to work quickly. Less than a minute in, Yale’s leading goal scorer, Matt Gaudet does it unassisted.
Eli’s scored the first two.

Falcons keep it close, Trey Lervick scored the first three Air Force goals.
On the cut, he makes it a 4-3 game.

Bulldogs didn’t like their first half effort.
Still, they had the lead at the break.
5-4 at the half..

in the 2nd half, Yale puts it away.

Gaudet had his hands full on the field, also heard it all night from the Air Force bench. The trash talking didn’t work; he had the last word.

Yale wins its 6th straight game. The final score was 13-6.
Gaudet unfazed by the sideline barrage.

Yale plays at Penn this Saturday.
