Defense was a huge reason the Yale football team won an Ivy League Championship last season.
This year– it’s a high powered offense– the Eli’s are leaning on a little more.
Tony Reno– has a young talented defense..
One that needs time to take its lumps. Injuries to the unit haven’t helped.
On the other side of the ball– the Bulldogs are capable of scoring in bunches.
They’ll need to put up some points Friday night when they play at Penn.
“They put a lot of pressure on themselves. We have standards on both sides of the ball that we’re trying to achieve. There’s a lot of internal pressure for them to be great. We’re really young…but I really like the way the guys work everyday and every improvement that they make”, said Yale Head Coach Tony Reno.
Yale and Penn kick-off Friday night at 7pm.
