Yale women’s basketball’s Barahman closes in on 1,000 ahead of big weekend

The Yale women’s basketball team is having another good season.

Allison Guth’s Bulldogs are among a bunch of teams packed at the top of the Ivy League standings.

Yale has a pair of big road games this weekend, at Dartmouth and then Harvard.

Junior guard Roxy Barahman is the team’s spark plug. She leads the Bulldogs in a bunch of categories, including scoring.

Barahman had a buzzer-beating three earlier this year to beat Harvard.

This time against the Crimson, she’ll have a chance to reach 1,000 career points. She needs 37 points going into the weekend.
