If you suffer from Spring allergies, you’re already well aware…pollen counts are through the roof!
That’s thanks to the high tree pollen and mold spore count!
According to Waterbury Hospital, the tree pollen count was over 3,500 on Wednesday.
Anything over 1,500 is considered very high. Now keep in mind, this is an improvement from Tuesday when the tree pollen count was over 7,000! That’s a staggering number.

If you really want to pinpoint the culprits for your congestion, it’s birch, oak, and maple trees.
The mold spore count was over 16,000! This went up since Tuesday when then count was around 6,000. Anything between 2,500 and 25,000 is considered high for the mold count.
The upcoming rain will help with the tree pollen, but it probably won’t do much for the mold count.
