Strong Winds Gusts with Showers/Thunder This Evening. A Little Snow Wednesday!

High temperatures on Monday were near 60 degrees. Strong cold front with gusts 40 mph+ this evening(Bradley with a 44 mph New London 45 mph gust) causing scattered power outages across the state. As of 10:37 pm over 3,700 power outages in Connecticut. Active weather continues this week with a system every other day! Dry and seasonably chilly weather Tuesday with highs near 40 degrees. Some light snow on Wednesday!!. Make sure you find the snow brush for your car before Wednesday as light accumulations of a coating to an inch or two are likely!! Thursday features some AM sun and seasonable temperatures. Windy, mild and wet weather returns for the weekend!

Tonight: Evening showers and storms with gusty winds. A scattered power outage possible with gusts 30-50 mph. Temperatures falling quickly and some of the rain could end as a brief mix in the hills. Lows in the 20s to middle 30s.

Tuesday: Partly sunny, breezy and colder with highs in the upper 30s to low 40s.

Wednesday: Light snow developing by mid-morning with some shoreline mixing possible. Light snow for the afternoon. Highs in the 30s. Coating to an inch or two!

Thursday: Drying out with highs in the mid to upper 30s.

Friday: A few passing showers, otherwise some sunshine and highs in the low-mid 40s to about 50.

Saturday: Showers, thunder, windy with mild temps in the mid 50s.

Sunday: Rain, thunder, windy. Highs in the 50s, falling late.

Monday: Mostly sunny with highs around 40.
