Reflecting on Connecticut tornadoes 1 year later

HAMDEN & WINDSOR LOCKS, Conn. (WTNH) - One year after tornadoes roared through Connecticut, some areas have recovered, some are rebuilding and others are changed forever.

There are still trees that had been thrown about in Hamden.

Sleeping Giant State Park remains off limits due to the extensive damage.

On Wednesday, Storm Team 8 Meteorologists Sam Kantrow and Ashley Baylor were out in Hamden and Beacon Falls taking a look back as well as ahead one year removed from those powerful storms.
