It has been another gloomy day across Connecticut. Generally between 0.10 and 0.20 inches of rain with less in parts of Eastern CT. Cold front will sweep across the area late evening accompanied by a brief heavy shower/thunderstorm. Windy conditions developing overnight with gusts 30-40 mph and a clearing sky late. The sunshine return for Tuesday and Wednesday. A strong cold front will arrive Wednesday evening with shot of polar air that will make Thursday feel like late November. Wednesday: Sun and gray clouds with cooler temps moving in late. Highs in the mid-upper 50s again.
Thursday: A very cold start with highs only in the upper 40s. Morning frost/freeze possible even at the shoreline.
Friday: Mostly sunny with clouds late. Highs in the 60s.
Saturday: Showers return for the first half of the weekend with highs in the low 60s.
Sunday: Mostly cloudy in the morning with more sun late. Highs only in the low-mid 50s.
Monday: Feeling like November with highs only in the 40s and mostly sunny skies.
