(WTNH) – Lighter wind overnight but very cold!!! Wednesday and Thursday are quiet and milder with very light wind. Rain arrives Thursday evening as a Big Storm out of the Gulf of Mexico will deliver heavy rain, local flooding, strong winds, thunder and near record high temperatures to Connecticut on Friday. Winter arrives at 5:23 pm Friday!!! Lingering shower Saturday, but improving. Right now Sunday through Christmas Day looks quiet!!! Hopefully a few flurries Christmas Eve?
Tonight: Mainly clear, lighter wind and cold with lows 13 to 21 degrees.
Wednesday: Sunshine and a few clouds, light windy with highs in the upper 30s and low 40s from north to south
Thursday: Any sunshine gives way to lots of clouds, no wind with highs in the low-mid 40s.
Friday: Winter officially begins at 5:23 PM. Rain, heavy a times, local flooding, strong winds and near record high temperatures around or even over 60° for some towns.
Saturday: Rain ending early with improving weather. Still above average with highs mostly in the mid 40s.
Sunday: Mostly sunny with highs in the upper 30s to around 40.
Monday: It does not look like stormy weather. Sun and clouds with highs in the 30s.
Christmas Day: Dry weather with 35-40.
