(WTNH) – Child sex trafficking is becoming more and more of a problem across the nation and here in Connecticut. The internet and social media are making it easier for predators to pounce.
How is this happening and what do parents need to know?
Plus, two high-profile cases made headlines this week. On Tuesday, a jury found Richard Dabate guilty on all charges in the death of his wife back in 2015. The jury took less than two days to deliberate after a month-long trial.
That same day, a grand jury in Vermont indicted Middletown native Nathan Carman for killing his mother while they were on a boat near Block Island in 2016. That happened just three years after his grandfather, John Chakalos, was found dead at his home in Windsor.
