(WTNH) – All over Connecticut, jobs are open, but few are applying. From lifeguards to executives to store clerks, the bosses can’t find help.

First, the beach crisis. With no guards wearing the familiar red bathing suits, some beaches may not open this summer.

Plus, a familiar face to Connecticut television. Brian Foley was a deputy chief for Hartford police, then a TV reporter, and now the state police spokesperson. Now he will be the town manager of Tolland.
