One person taken into custody following bank robbery near Route 190 in Enfield

ENFIELD, Conn. (WTNH) – Enfield police have arrested one person in connection to a bank robbery on Wednesday morning. Police said around 9 a.m., they received a 911 call from an employee at Chase Bank on Hazard Avenue stating they were just robbed.

The caller said the suspect state he had a bomb. When officers arrived on the scene, they saw an individual fitting the suspect on foot in the area.

He was detained by patrol officers and was placed under arrest. Police located a large sum of money on the suspect.

Police checked the bank and found no evidence of any explosive materials and no injuries were reported.

The suspect, identified as Anthony Daglio, 40, was charged with first-degree robbery, third-degree larceny, and first-degree threatening. His bond was set at $250,000 and he is scheduled to appear in court on Thursday.
