Man shot in leg in Hartford

HARTFORD, Conn. (WTNH) — A shooting investigation is underway in Hartford after a man was shot Thursday night.

The incident happened around 9 p.m. near Garden and Westland streets.

Officers said the man was shot in the leg. They said he is alert and conscious.

No information about the shooter has been released.
