HARTFORD, Conn. (WTNH) — Police in Hartford responded to the scene of a fatal motorcycle crash Tuesday evening.
The incident happened before 8:45 p.m. on 261 West Service Road. Officers said Charles Holder, 55, of Hartford was speeding when he hit the guardrail and was launched into the woods.
Police found Holder dead in the woods off to the side of the road and say speed was a factor in the crash.
The road was opened the following morning.
