Athletic directors at several schools are making those tough decisions of choosing between safety first or maintaining tradition.
“It’s very difficult, but when you think about the health and safety of our players, our coaches, our spectators. From both schools, it comes from that decision. It’s really more easy than you think because it’s going to be so cold Thursday morning. I mean, wind chills we’re hearing to be below zero,” says North Haven Athletic Director Steve Blumenthal.
More than a dozen games in teh state have been shifted from Thursday to Wednesday night.
