The National Weather Service says a macroburst caused damage in Brookfield on Tuesday.
Storm Team 8 Senior Meteorologist Fred Campagna reports the macroburst was estimated to be 2.5 miles wide.

The powerful storm caused damage across the state, knocking out power for thousands and uprooting trees.
Officials say at least two people died due to conditions caused by the storm.

Thousands remain without power at this time.
