We are back with another Report-It Recap! Spring is around the corner, but Mother Nature clearly has other plans.
Connecticut started off this week with windy weather, with speeds upwards of 60 miles per hour.
The winds ripped siding off of a home in Derby and shingles off of a roof in Milford.
Trees and powerlines were crashing down in so many communities, which left thousands of people without power across the state.
Flags, and even patio funiture, were being whipped around all day long.
Branches of all sizes fell everywhere, and some even pierced through car windows. Thankfully, no one was injured when the branches struck.
Shoutout to 3-year-old Drayton who donated 200 boxes of cereal to a local food bank. His mom was able to get them all for free with her couponing skills!
Finally, kudos to the Fairfield Warde High School Dance Team for winning their 6th straight state championship in the Large Hip Hop Division. Congratulations!
Keep those picture and videos coming!
