There’s a bit of an identity crisis going on outside — worlds are colliding. It’s not even Thanksgiving and we saw our first snow storm. I think the vast majority of us weren’t expecting scenes like this until December, or even January.
The storm created quite the mess, especially during the drive home Thursday night. Cars coming to a standstill along the Berlin Turnpike. There were backups just about everywhere — along every major stretch of road. Some people getting delayed for hours.
Friday morning there was a mess along I-691 in Meriden. A tractor trailer got stuck in the snow.
This was the scene along Rockwood Drive in Southington. The roads still a mess Friday morning.
In Cheshire, heavy rain coming down during the morning commute, washing away much of the snow. Everyone saw differing amounts of snow. It all depends on where you live. Anywhere from a few inches to upwards of 8 inches or higher.
The snow sure did look nice at homes already decorated for Christmas. Penelope and Noah got out to play in West Haven. And so did a bunch of other kids. The snow can be pretty enjoyable if you don’t have to drive in it or even shovel it.
Speaking of which, Aiden was caught on video shoveling at his home in Bethlehem. Someone has to be responsible, after all.
While one family had the ideal situation , by watching the storm from their hot tub.
It’s only a matter of time before all of this melts. But then again, there’s no telling when the next storm will roll on through. Keep your pictures and videos coming!
