Interstate 395 southbound has reopened in Killingly after emergency road work closed the roadway for much of the day Friday.
At around 8:00am Friday, officials announced that lanes near exit 41 would be closed due to deteriorating conditions.
Connecticut State Police provided the public with an update on Twitter at around 4:00 Friday afternoon.
Officials tell News 8 that the roadway was deteriorating due to the heavy rain, among other things.
