Route 9 north in Cromwell reopens after multi-car crash


CROMWELL, Conn. (WTNH) — A multi-car crash on Route 9 northbound in Cromwell was causing delays Friday night.

According to the Connecticut Department of Transportation, the freeway was closed between Exits 16 and 18, and congested between Exits 12 and 18. It has since reopened.

No further information has been provided at this time.
