Tractor-trailer goes off I-91 south, closes part of North Road in Cromwell

CROMWELL, Conn. (WTNH)– State police are investigating a tractor-trailer crash on Interstate-91 southbound between Exits 21 and 20 Sunday morning.

State police report the left and center lanes are closed. Troopers tell News 8 the tractor-trailer was carrying bananas.

Cromwell Mayor Enzo Faienza says the tractor-trailer drove off Interstate 91 and ended up on North Road. There are no injuries, according to Mayor Enzo Faienza.

North Road between Coles and Evergreen Road will be closed for an unknown amount of time.
