A New Haven man has died after a late night crash in the city on Tuesday.
According to officials, the vehicle crashed on Ella T. Grasso Boulevard between Lamberton Street and Washington Avenue.
Authorities responded around 11:40 p.m. and found two of the four occupants sitting on the sidewalk after they were pulled from the vehicle by good Samaritans. Another occupant was walking on the road, while a fourth, 29-year-old Jovany Rosas-Marquez, was in the back seat with critical injuries. Police said he died just before 12:30 a.m. at the hospital.
The other occupants all suffered non-life threatening injuries.
The area was closed early Wednesday morning before reopening.
Officials are currently investigating the accident.
