One person sent to the hospital after 4-car crash on Interstate 91 in Middletown

MIDDLETOWN, Conn. (WTNH) — A four-car crash has sent one person to the hospital early Sunday morning.

Police say the accident happened on Interstate 91 at around 3 a.m. Sunday morning.

One person was extricated from the car with injuries and sent to the hospital for treatment.

No word on the severity of their injuries or what caused the crash. Police say four cars were involved.
