Enfield PD: Two people seriously injured in crash on North Street

ENFIELD, Conn. (WTNH) — Enfield police are investigating a crash that left two people with serious injuries Friday afternoon.

Police say the two-vehicle crash happened at 4:31 p.m. on North Street by Taylor Road.

A 2011 Dodge Dakota was operated by 29-year-old William River. He was transported to Baystate Medical Center with suspected serious injuries.

The other vehicle involved in the crash was a 2012 Honda CRV operated by 61-year-old James McGowan. Police report he was transported by LifeStar to Hartford Hospital with suspected serious life-threatening injuries.

The crash remains under investigation. Anyone with information on this crash is asked to call Officer Peterson at 860-763-6400 ext. 1385.
