EAST LYME, Conn. (WTNH) — A tractor-trailer caught fire on I-95 northbound in East Lyme Tuesday morning, causing significant delays.

The incident happened just after 10 a.m. between exits 73 and 74, state police said. Traffic was being diverted off of exit 72 when both lanes were closed.

As of 1 p.m., the right lane remains closed and traffic is still congested between exits 70 and 73. Follow traffic updates here.

State police said no one was injured.
