Celebrating World Down Syndrome Awareness Day

It’s March 21st because of 3/21, those with down syndrome have three copies of the 21st chromosome. 

Executive Director, Down Syndrome Association of Connecticut Shanon McCormick along with Dylan Kuhnhenn and Allison Haines who live in Chapel Haven Schleifer Center explains why this day is so important.

There will be an open house at Chapel Haven Schleifer Center on Saturday, April 13.
