Joining us today in the Bender kitchen is Lifestyle Expert, JoJo Pastors, Executive Director, Jim Keenan and Chowda Chef Mascot (Marc Lee) to tell you all about the 11th Annual Chowdafest.
They have funded over 2 million meals in the ongoing fight against food insecurity – over a half million alone last year through Food Rescue US. They anticipate up to 15,000 passionate foodies to attend this Sunday.
The Chowdafest is named a top event of the season by Yankee Magazine the past two years and one of just 8 New England events.
Everyone is a judge at Chowdafest – we’re a true people’s choice event that determines the best chowder, soup and bisque in New England.
There will be up to 40 incredible restaurants from all over New England that compete each year. There are five categories of competition because you can’t compare a New England clam chowder to a lobster bisque to a chicken noodle soup.
You will enjoy unlimited sampling plus Italian, Mexican, beverage and desert sections all for just $20 (adult), $5 kids 6-12 and parking is free.
