Turkeys drop to $1.21/pound – the lowest in 10 years

(WTNH) — A lot of Americans are expected to skip the big Thanksgiving celebrations this year, which has the demand for traditional turkey dinners plummeting.

Turkey producers and retailers have been scrambling to stock smaller birds and partial cuts, especially turkey breasts.

That has dropped the price of whole birds down to a $1.21 per pound — the lowest in a decade.
