(WTNH)- It’s day four of an all day long kids for kids dance competition at North Haven High School bringing dancers together to raise money for children in need.
President of Kids for Kids Richard Branigan joined Good Morning Connecticut Sunday to talk about the event that is creating a better future for children by supporting a variety of children charities and individuals in need.
This year they are raising over $100,000.
The organization is celebrating its 25th year anniversary and has given out well over 2 million dollars to various children’s charities.
While the heart of this competition continues to be kids helping kids and a weekend full of talented young dancers, the organization is excited to have more participation from the “Dance Dads” as well. This year, four dance studios have fathers volunteering to dance to raise money towards Camp No Limits, a camp that offers support for children with limb loss and their families.
